As Anthony mentioned in his last post, neighborbee hired artist Hani Shihada to draw the neighborbee logo on 115th and Broadway in the Columbia University/Morningside Heights neighborhood.
The neighborbee marketing team took some photos and video of the event, which we’ve edited together to show you how the whole thing unfolded. Enjoy the video below, and stop by and see the art if you’re in the neighborhood!

Jeff and Rajesh, our lead developers, are working out some bugs and tying up some loose ends. They’re doing a great job and once it goes live, we plan to get them some extra help. Stay tuned for more details on that…
The neighborbee blog is heading into its second week. Kate and the writers are doing an amazing job and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us.
Hi everyone! I’m Anthony, the guy who founded neighborbee at Fordham University a couple years ago. You can read about our story here. I use “founder” loosely because neighborbee now has several co-founders who play huge roles in getting it off the ground.
So, I’m assuming you guys met Kate, our blogger bee. Kate is our new editor/co-founder of the neighborbee blog and we’re really excited about what she and the writers have in store for us. The neighborbee blog and website will have their own unique voices, but will also compliment each other by showcasing the many facets of neighborhood life.
