You may have noticed that the blog was down for most of the weekend and this morning. That was because (and I am totally serious) our servers caught on fire yesterday.
However, we are now back up and lookin’ good, so thanks for your patience!

We at neighborbeeblog have just finished our first month, and we think things are going pretty well! That being said, there are a lot of topics out there that we would love to cover, but don’t have any writers to do it. These topics include:
- Queens
- The Bronx
- Pets
- GLBT
- Dance
- Tech
If you are interested in writing about one of the aforementioned topics (or if there’s a topic that you think we should be covering), send an email with your blog (or any sort of writing sample) to kate@neighborbeeblog.com.
Thanks! We’re looking forward to hearing from you.

Greetings, Neighborbees! My name is Kate, and I’m the new editor of the Neighborbee Blog.
Starting next week, the blog is going to have a whole bunch of new content and new writers! Over 10 awesome writers will be contributing weekly columns to Neighborbee Blog, on topics ranging from food and comedy, to sports and music. Their columns will hopefully introduce you to all sorts of new things to make life in your neighborhood (and in New York City) more fun and interesting.
We are looking to you to tell us what you want to read about, so please let us know what piques your interest by emailing us at tips@neighborbee.com or responding in the comment section of this post.
We’re looking forward to this next stage of the Neighborbee Blog, and we hope you are too.
